THE ANOINTING BREAKS THE YOKE

To be teachable, we have to learn a new value system. We can no longer move into the kingdom of God with the values of the Babylonian system that tell us how to work and earn money and have an exchange system. The Church often operates from the system of exchange that the world does.

The first thing Jesus did was to go into the temple and drive out the money exchangers. He said my house is not an exchange system, but my house is a Holy Place, a house of prayer. I am not saying that we cannot sell books or tapes, but it goes much farther than that. It works like this: we give our life, tithe, and offering, and in exchange, we receive a blessing from God. God is going to drive out the exchange system because a blessing is not an exchange. It is an increase that we cannot exchange. God wants to move us into a new realm of a new power.

We can operate in the exchange system, but it does not mean because you prophesy that you will receive recognition. Many of us go into ministry to raise our identity, and in a psychological way, once again we lock into the exchange system to receive something. God wants us to be indebted to Him. Some of us want to pay God off because we do not like to be indebted.

2 Kings 5 speaks of the miracle of the healing of Naaman. Naaman was a valiant man and a soldier, but he had leprosy. There is a spiritual leprosy in The Church. Leprosy is a disease that makes a person numb, and there is a loss of feeling and sensitivity. Even so we are valiant, and we have big victories in the Lord, we have lost our sensitivity on how to flow and how to be used by the Holy Spirit. Instead to move quickly, we have to pray for many hours to receive an answer we should know by instinct because we are numb have spiritual leprosy. It says that the pure in heart shall see God, so what happens when we are a leper? A leper can be a good praiser, tither, worshiper and a good preacher. Spiritual leprosy arises when we live in isolation outside the camp, and we cannot communicate or eat of the holy things. Many of us in The Church cannot communicate. We have closed ourselves within because we do not know how to communicate in the power and in the wisdom of the Lord. We are struggling for things that the anointing should break.

Naaman had no anointing. The anointing breaks the yoke in our lives, and that is why it is so important that we are rubbed with the oil of the Spirit. The anointing breaks the yoke of our thinking, of our feeling, of our opinion and ideas and of the marring of our character.

The prophetic ministry is very important because the prophet needs to speak the word of the Lord into The Church so that The Church once again will go back to the Jordan to be cleansed. God is raising up the prophet, and not only the prophetic gift, but also the prophetic ministry. There was a little servant girl who spoke into Naaman’s life. Jesus said that children shall lead us, and that we have to become like a child to enter the Kingdom. (Matthew 18:2-5)

You and I need to come into the place where God can move in a new way in all our lives. In my years of serving the Lord I realize that there are areas in which I have to continuously yield.

In His Love,
      Sigi
