FOUR NEW VALUE SYSYTEMS

There are three levels of anointing. I have studied of life of David, and I came to realize that David was the only king in the Bible who was anointed three times. He was once anointed among his brethren, a second time as king over Judah, and a third time as king over Israel.

As I meditated upon the Lord I said, “ Lord, where is The Church? We are not just viewers gazing upon the world.” We have power to lead and guide by the Holy Spirit, and God wants to use the church in this time, like never before. However, some of us do not really know how to be used, and some of us have given up hope to be used. We are worn out and our trials have made us weary. I believe in this day The Church worldwide is standing at a crossroad. As The Church, we have to regroup and cast out our disappointments and things that have bogged us down to receive a new vision for our lives, as individuals and as a group.

The anointing means to be rubbed with oil, to shine, and to be separated. Many times we have separated ourselves, and it has caused isolation. Separation should not be isolation because we are the light, but we walk in the darkness. We separate the darkness from the light, and we become the separation as we are rubbed with oil. God wants to bring The Church out of isolation and out of fears and worries to know who we are in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Saul lost what God had given him, as the people desired it, why? He brought a forced offering, and we can never bring a forced offering to God. God always wants a voluntary offering. He does not want our forced lives, but rather, He wants a living sacrifice, a voluntary sacrifice from our free will.

1 Samuel 16: 13 says, “Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.” The first anointing we experience is in the midst of our brethren. Just because David was anointed as the king, did not mean that he was the king. He had to go through many trials and tribulations. He had to go through jealousies and rejections and through a desert experience. He went through experiences where he could have taken Saul’s life. Even so he was anointed as king, he could not function as king. He was anointed to be taught, so that he would be teachable and yielded in his character and personality to the moving of God’s Spirit, in order for God to transform him and give him new priorities and new levels of understanding.

The first anointing is when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. We are anointed to be a disciple and to sit at Jesus’ feet and to learn. We cannot walk in wisdom and in His power until we grasp that the laws of the Spirit and His kingdom are one. Many of us think the anointing is just there to be healed, but it is more than that. The anointing breaks the yoke to give us a new value system.

In His Love,
