HIS DWELLING PLACE IS WITHIN ME

Today we are not faithful; we are only loyal to our needs and not loyal to each other. To be loyal to each other, we have to be anointed a second time because the crown of life means that I can lay down my life for you. We cannot lay down our lives for each other, not because we are evil, but because we have no authority to give our lives. Instead, we become victims. Christ said, “No one takes my life I give it.” If we give something away, how can it be taken? If we are willing to give, we cannot be robbed and things cannot be taken. That is the key to find our life.

As long as we hang on to life, we do not know how to live. As we let loose of life and let Christ give us the crown of life, we will no longer have to fear death because we will know how to live.

Revelation 3:7-13 speaks of the Church of Philadelphia. The open door Jesus speaks about is a door to enter into the holy dwelling of the Lord that He dwells with us so that His glory might be revealed in our life. I believe what God does in these days is to build His dwelling place within us.

Patience is not a feeling, but it is to be enduring. Some of us do not know how to endure. We are impatient. It comes from the impact on our emotions that we feel at the time. The Church of Philadelphia did not need to repent and had nothing to lose. God said that their struggle was to keep what they had.

David’s struggle was that once he had conquered Jerusalem, he had to keep what he had; he had to struggle for what he had. Some us have had valuable things from God, and we have let them go. We did not struggle for them because the devil has made “little of” those things. It had meant nothing to us because we looked to the neighbors yard, and we thought the grass was greener, and we did not keep what God had given us. As we remain in Him, we shall bring forth fruit just like the Church of Philadelphia. We have something, and we need to keep what we have that no one can take our crown.

We have given up ground because it does not mean much to us. We have to overcome, to struggle like Israel and become strong in the struggling to keep what we have. There are always enemies who want to take what we have. We have to fight to keep what we have received through the impartation of the Spirit of God, and only than can we become a pillar in the temple.

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” (Revelation 3:11-12)
In His Love,
