A DONKEY SYNDROME

As I travel around the world I realize one thing, that many in The Church have great potential and great gifts, but very few are able to come into the liberty and into the freedom to use their potential and gifts. Many women and men are struggling with the church system. Men struggle the same as women to have an understanding of their manhood as women do to understand their womanhood, but I will direct my thoughts to women for the moment. They have gone for years and years to church, yet deep within their hearts they do not know what it is to be The Church, and to walk in the light and power and the unction of what God has for them. Most women find their fulfillment as mothers and find their fulfillment as wives, or in their career or in ministry.

However, there are very few women who know what it means to find their fulfillment in womanhood. There are so many things that God shapes within women. There are women who have been married for years and years and have five or six children, yet deep within their heart, there is a lack; there is no fulfillment. For many of us, our womanhood has actually become a burden. For example, the Arab nations and so many different cultures and different families are unable to stand in liberty and freedom because there is no understanding of what womanhood is through God’s perspective.

A woman is supposed to show beauty and make a home, but it does not mean that she should decorate, or make pies and cook good meals. A home means a place where we can be beautiful. Now that has nothing to do with ‘make up,’ but that I as a women have the power to create an environment for those who come in my environment to find the ability to delight in life. When I come into women's presence, many of their faces are downcast. They know Jesus is somewhere, but He does not penetrate and illuminate their lives, and as a result, many are totally downcast in what they are as women.

It is a process, and God showed me that women are going through a donkey syndrome. A donkey means; to have a sense of patience and is strong; is permanent; has endurance and is sure footed, and occasionally is stupid. I can see this in women. She has a sense of patience; some of us pray for our husbands for twenty years. We are strong in endurance; many women are very strong in their endurance and endurance is a type of patience that God brings to us to have experience. Women are sure-footed and can be stupid at times. Lets face it, some women pray for their husband for many years and finally he gets rid of her, and then she marries another man exactly the same.

My calling in God has nothing to do with whether my husband David loves me or not. My calling in God has to be first, if David loves me or not. I make a decision inside for God to use me.
In His Love,
